Last Night
Last night, I proudly accepted my party’s nomination for re-election to the United States House of Representatives.  I was humbled by the support that I received from the voters in CD3, and I look forward to continuing our fight together.

I have spent my entire career fighting for middle-class Nevadans, those who have been taken advantage of by greedy Wall Street banks and squeezed by insurance companies.  That is why I voted against TARP and the bailouts and voted to block pay raises for members of Congress.

But I will need your continued support to stand up to the special interests that are funding Senator Heck’s campaign.  Please contribute $10, $25, $50, or $100 before the end of the day to beat our deadline and show the country we are ready to fight.

Senator Heck has been in the pockets of the same corporations I have been fighting.  He has aligned himself with far right groups, fighting to privatize Social Security and dismantle Medicare.

I have made it a top priority to tackle the major challenges facing people in District Three.  My congressional office was one of the first in the country to stand with homeowners against unresponsive, greedy banks, helping hundreds avoid foreclosure.  I have been hard at work fighting to create jobs and reverse the downhill slide we were on after eight years of George Bush by investing in renewable energy that will bring good jobs to Southern Nevada that cannot be sent overseas.

The Republicans in Washington and the Tea Partiers around the country are primed for a fight and we know they will spend millions lying about my record and destroying our hard work.

With your continued support we will be victorious in November so we can continue to fight for middle-class Nevadans by creating jobs and putting an end to the foreclosure crisis.

As always, THANK YOU for all that you do.

Sincerely,

Dina
