Join Senator Titus and other valley residents on July 4th at the 60th Annual Boulder City Damboree. There will be plenty of festivities, food, games, and even a parade and a "flyover" from Nellis Air Force Base. The event will close with fireworks at 9:00 PM. What a great way to celebrate our nation's independence, with a little something for everyone.
Visit www.bcnv.org/damboree/ for a full schedule of events and locations. We look forward to seeing you there!
I don’t know how many of you caught Jeff Gillan’s interview with Jon Porter last week, but I did – and I did a double-take when I heard Jon Porter talk about how he was going to fix the alternative minimum tax, which we all know unfairly taxes middle-class taxpayers.
On May 31, over 400 friends and neighbors showed up at our new headquarters to officially kick off the campaign. It was like a family reunion, but lots of new folks came as well. We have also had a couple of great weeks of press coverage, with several stories appearing in the Review-Journal, a couple of Ralston flashes, some television news and several radio interviews.

What a whirlwind it has been since I announced on May 1 that I am running against Jon Porter in CD 3. The initial call from Nancy Pelosi was very flattering, as have been the attention and support from Democratic leaders here in Nevada and in Washington, D.C. But most gratifying are the hundreds of calls, letters, and emails from you, saying, “Please Run! CD 3 needs your help.”
